The Farmers

As farmers, we see ourselves not just as producers of food, but as keepers of rhythm, relationship, and responsibility. Each day begins with quiet care — tending animals, walking the land, and listening to what nature asks of us. Our animals are not just part of the farm; they are companions in the daily rhythm of life, each with their own personality and purpose. We love and respect them, whether or not they are part of our food system, and believe their wellbeing is central to the integrity of our farm.
We steward the land because we believe it is a living partner — not a resource to extract from, but a relationship to nurture. Our work is rooted in regeneration: giving back more than we take, protecting soil, water, and biodiversity for generations to come.
At the heart of Farmilia is a longing to revive the spirit of the old village — where neighbors supported one another, food was grown and shared locally, and life moved with the seasons. We’re building a space not just for farming, but for gathering, learning, and reconnecting — with the land, with each other, and with a more grounded way of living.
