We’re Jenn & Alex — naturopathic doctors, organic farmers, and parents to three amazing young people. Our story began in medical school, where we discovered a shared dream of living off the land, growing food, and integrating natural medicine with community education.

 

After six years in Toronto, we made the move to beautiful rural Ottawa — Alex’s hometown — to bring that vision to life on a piece of land we now call home.

Beyond medicine and farming, we’re deeply committed to accessible health care, ecological building, and community-rooted living. During our studies, we volunteered twice in Haiti with Naturopaths Without Borders, and we continue to be involved in not-for-profit medical initiatives both locally and abroad.

At the heart of it all, we hope to show that it’s possible for two professionals — and their family — to live a sustainable, efficient, and high-quality rural life. We look forward to connecting with others who share a passion for health, farming, and the natural world.
